Saturday

Man we are like swamped with summer plans...! tomorrow is our cousins wedding!! And we are SOOOO super excited and happy for her:) So obviously we are going out with all the girls from out of town who are here for the wedding:) do we should be having a LOT of fun:) Thought i'd share this pic... love the style mix:)

clothes swap

Over the weekend my sisters and I called all our girlfriends over and had a clothes swap! haha it was so much fun! And we spent the morning cooking, baking and cleaning:) It was a lot of fun making the fancy and special desserts. I made a  gluten free chocolate raspberry cake and steph made some fancy pineapple vanilla dessert cracker they were amazing! So all the girls started showing up around 3:30 and we just relaxed and hung out till 10:00!! It was so much fun just to have all our friends over and chill out for a little bit:)

Our internet has been acting up lately... And I have barley been living without the internet working! I know that sounds dramatic but its hard! haha I guess you don't know what you have until you loose it. so we got the internet up and running a couple days ago:) I was really excited about that (you can imagine)! So tonight we are having all our girl friends over and having a clothes swap:) I think its gonna turn out fun. We are making fun and fancy desserts and appetizers:) So I'm gonna be making that chocolate cake I put on here before, but instead of filling it with coconut chocolate filling, I'm going to fill it with a raspberry filling!!! WOOO HOOO! Cant wait for that!:) Btw I am super obsessed with lace... lace dresses lace nails lace anything!!

no time...

It has been such a busy year for me and my family! I cant remember the last time we were all  relaxed. i cant wait for summer to come cause it seems to calm me! lol i dont know... it must be the warm weather or the sun shining or the kids laughing and playing outside. but I am here, running through life full speed!

gluten free

Stephanie and I decided to go gluten free a couple weeks ago, and its kinda hard when you don't have the right ingredients for everything. So on Saturday I dragged savannah to seven grains first thing in the morning and I got all the ingredients for a chocolate cake:) I was so happy! So here is my first real gluten free cake I made. Ugh it was so good!

summer?

Man! It is beautiful today! Believe it or not I'm in short sleeves! I woke up this morning took a shower and went down to the basement and brought up my summer clothes! haha It feels so good!! It is still a little chilly right now in the morning but it is supposed to be around 73 degrees! YAY! But over the weekend the kids were messing around and they saw this video on youtube! Check it out. I  was dieing laughing when I saw it but maybe that's cause i was slap happy;)

                                                                                                                                                                         

no work!

I'm so excited, no more work for the rest of the week! So I'm all excited about that:) Last night Levi had some friends sleep over and now all the kids are at the gym besides Matthew:( That poor kid... its hie third time having the flu this winter! But ya, so I'm here in a quiet house. And its just what I need! These pics are from yesterday when I was babysitting for eight hours straight! Man was that tiering...

Monday

Today I worked cause there is gonna be a scrapbooking convention soon so paper crazy is gonna be having a booth there:) So we are super busy getting things ready. Its kinda exciting to do this! I have never done anything like that before. Like run a booth! But ya I'm getting pretty geeked:) Here is one of my favorite pics with one of my favorite people:)

sick...

This week has been kinda rough... I got super sick on Tuesday and I was in bed ever since yesterday. I'm still feeling a little sick but its just a little sore throat and runny nose. But I would rather take that then being stuck in bed hacking away and my whole body being sore! ugh. I just seriously cant wait till summer comes.. or for the weather just to get warmer!

I don't know what it is with this song, but I can listen to it all day long... like for the rest of my life!! I love piano music! But i still haven't been able to find an up beat/happyish style... I've never posted a video so we'll see if I know how to work this baby;)

weekend

On Saturday we were feeling like smoothies for dinner and we were gonna be going out anyway, so we went to pulp (a smoothie bar):) Oh my did it remind me of summer! I just cant wait for it to get warmer and for the sun to start shining like its summer! So here are some pics from that:)

 

Where have I been?!

It feels like I havent just sat down in such a long time! Its like we were running around all week for some reason! I actually think that we did something every day of the week! Its really weird cause Allie and Savannah didnt work since Wednesday, and it feels so weird. Mine and Stephs systems are so messed up! haha  with like cleaning up and doing our homework. Just wanted to let you all know I'm still alive and busier then ever...

 

weekend

On Friday I babysat again cause Cate and Marie's mom is really busy with work, so I had her drop off the kids at our house:) Man haha at first I think they were a little overwhelmed and unsure what to think and do! So they huddled around me for a little bit and then after a while I think they realized that our kids don't bite too hard;) jk  And then on Saturday we did a lot of cleaning because the week before I worked and didn't have a chance to clean anything and cause we were having our aunt and uncle over for dinner Sunday night! But on Saturday morning we went to dunkin doughnuts and marshals. and I got a latte... butter pecan latte! MAN was that thing sweet! I couldn't finish it! It made me feel soo jittery and hyper! It was the weirdest feeling coffee never did that to me before! Next time I'm defiantly asking for half the pump :)

tonight

Tonight I wanted  to make a dessert... a gluten free dessert:) Stephanie and I are going gluten free just to try it out. I did it before for like a month and it makes you feel so much better. Its hard to find recipes with stuff you have at home. Like not everyone has rice flour and almond flour in their pantry! If you do thats pretty cool. I try to eat healthy but its kinda hard when you live at home with 10 other people. I was looking at this recipe it does not call for all the special/fancy flours and stuff:) and it sounds pretty good.

Ingredients:

 6 oz. semisweet chocolate

10 eggs, seperated

7/8 cup. white sugar

2 cups. ground almonds

directions:

1. Melt chocolate in top of double boiler; set aside.
2. Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored. Gradually beat in sugar. Blend in chocolate and almonds.
3. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold whites into chocolate batter. Spoon batter into an ungreased 10 inch Bundt pan.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Remove from oven, invert pan, and cool about 40 minutes before removing from pan.

cousins night

We had a cousins night a few days ago. With all the cousins from my moms side of the family. It was a lot of fun just playing games and just chilling out with everyone. They made stuffed shells and this really good chicken rice with broccoli and carrots:) Oh it was so good! They made a whole bunch of desserts too:)
