thanksgiving!

 

my weekend was awesome! i was so happy just to relax and chill out for a little bit. i think all my family needed a break from everything. just form coming back from the trip, from going back to school, work, working on the house, cleaning up the yard before it gets even colder outside if thats possible! its has gotten soo cold ever since we got back from out trip:( im not quite ready for it, but thats ok;) anyways you know the tukey cake i was talking about? well i didnt have the right tools for it so i had to make something else... it was a four layer cocoanut cake and it was pretty good:)

YAY! so i was able to finish the cup cakes how i wanted them to turn out! im so happy:) now my next mission is to make that turkey cake;) haha hopefully that turns out! man i dont really know whats wrong with me but im kinda happy for some reason! and its monday!! man weird...

On Sunday we are having dinner guest, and i have been looking up cake decorating! so i was thinking of making chocolate cupcakes and than decorating them with flowers:) i looked up videos on youtube and it looks simple... but its not really:( haha oh well i might just end up iceing them normally if not ill try to take pics and post them on here:)

ok so iv been sitting here for two days already trying to look for a cake to make on thanksgiving. so i wanted to make a really fancy cake with layers and some kind of decoration on the top:) i was thinking more like flowers or something but i found this cake its sooo cute it has a turkey on the top of the cake and ill post a pic of it later on when i make it:) btw these buildings remind me of serbia:)

back to manday

im still trying to get used to the time difference from Serbia, and its taking a while... when we came home the kids decorated the house it was so cute! too bad i didnt take a pic. im kicking my self for that now. its so nice i havent been back to work yet! but im going back Thursday. we finally got all our suitcases unpacked and our room clean!

2nd day home

man is it hard ot trying to fall asleep! serbia is 6 hours ahead of us so you can imagine. yesturday my mom got up at 3 in the morning and couldent go back to sleep! haha and by the time 7 o clock rolls around we are all dead. i had SO much fun there. it was so much more relaxed and we kinda did our own thing. we have alot of relitives there and friends that live there and its not always fun going to an old grandmas house or a family who has just little kids esp when you have 8 other siblings!! last time we went with the family and that was kinda stressful. i cant imagine doing that again! ok this first pic is of this little black baby that i sat by on the plane and he loved me so i thought it was pretty cute:) the rest of the pics are right after we got out of a gandmas house! we were so happy;)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

im back

you guys im back!!! i cant believe i was in serbia yesturday! i had such a good time:) btw over there everyone has such good style. its pretty cool all the guys dress up. over here everyone is in sweats! but whatever.
